Crooked Creek Ranch

by Crooked Creek Ranch on 03 September 2008 - 00:09

I am more familiar with working lines so when a friend offered this dog for sale to me because of his divorce I wanted to find out more information. I knew some of these names but would like a more experienced opinion on this dog. He has a wonderful temperament I am told and so far has just the basic obedience work.

Is he breedworthy with a proper female after hips/elbows and training based on his pedigree? What would be a proper female to breed with him or one I should not breed with him?

I for one love his pedigree.

I love Gucci and Neptune who are both really close  in the pedigree.  both dogs were great in the showring and on the working field.

get his hips/health ect checked, then I wouldn't see any reason why not to use him as long as he has a sound temperament, which I don't see why not.  I would probably stick with showline females to breed back to him.  try some Rikkor lines.  they blended very well with Neptune.
