I would appreciate if some of you could post the correct steps and information needed to submit xrays to the SV for rating if you have a AKC registered dog. Thanks in advance!

Which of these organizations does everyone prefer to use for certification?

Very good luck to you if you are thinking of sending Hip and Elbow xrays to the SV in Germany
You will have a Dog probably 4 to 5 months older by the time you get the results
My Fred took forever to get his results, and i am now waiting for young Gorans results After waiting for the Bills to pay into the bank of DNA, Hips came afterwards then time goes by and i get a bill to pay for the Elbows, Once paid and all details and Pedigree etc is posted to the SV
X-Ray Photos sent direct to the SV by the vet who took them also done in Germany,
So all paid up and now time is passing by waiting for the X-rays to be looked at and i am told they will be when there is a big enough batch for them to look at
I guess Goran will be at least 3 to 4 months older when i get his results from the time the X-Rays were taken
Could not take him to Liege in Belgium because the Prof was in Hospital, and no bookings were being accepted at that time
And i live in Belgium, so good luck to you if you go down that road
By the way the cost of results to me in Belgium for DNA, Hips and Elbows was 220 USA Dollars
Hips and Elbows cost 130 USA Dollars
No less than quoted on a link on the site, seeing the postage to the USA

Use whichever organization you are a member of (WDA or USCA). I sent x-rays via USCA begiining of June (hips and elbows) and got the results back almost 10 weeks later. Elbow results were stamped beginning of July, hips end of July. For the elbows through USCA you have to send a credit card number for the SV to use for the elbow stamp as USCA doesn't have an offical elbow program with them.
Make sure you send the orginal copy of your registration and a certified 4 generation pedigree with the x-rays and all the indicated info on the x-rays. And you alos need to have the tatto verification form as well too.
