bow,

I'm no expert so I can't comment on the particular blood line.  Or what you could expect from this dog.

But I'd love to see a picture on the pedigree.

Brent.

Hi!

Took a quick look at her pedigree. I can say this much: Where I can from we have usually used East German/Czech-bred shepherds (although these days there is more variation, and I personally like the temperament of the West German type.) You picked a good description. In my experience, the "working type" shepherd can have an incredible high energy. I have seen a good number develop a "hair trigger" but they are superb animals in their own right.

Do you have pictures you can post? I'd like to see her.

Very interesting pedigree with Harro 5,5,5 (a dog forever near and dear to my own heart) and Mink twice, once through Crok, lines to Fero through Troll. I am not surprised she's a firecracker! I suspect she has prey drive up the wa-zoo. watch your hands when you have a toy. LOL

Good luck with her. I'm thinking you have your hands full.

Jfletcher:

I noticed your female has a Cal3.  I did a match Cal 2 with a bunch of Cane Corso people a few months ago.  I was told at the time that my GSD could not get a Cal title officially.  Was just wondering if maybe that was a restriction with the club that was holding the trial.  Was hoping you could tell me where you competed to get your dogs Cal3 as I would be interested in trialing her again.  Any information would be appreciated.
