How would you handle this situation? One of my females has only had 2 litters to date one being 6 weeks old.I happened to be looking at her pedigree last night and noticed she had more progeny posted than she really has. This new Suspicious progeny also has the same sire. I feel that this person is trying to or is selling puppies off the bloodlines I have just bred.I am angry at this point but want to hear other thoughts before I move forward.

I suppose it is possible it is some sort of honest mistake, but yes, I would be mad too if what you suggest is happening. Do you know who the poster is? Have you tried contacting them? If all else fails, let the board know who the poster is and see if anyone here knows what is going on.

Unfortuanetly when you post the progeny it does not show who posted it . It is not the end of the world but concerning for sure.I think one of the problems with the database is the ability for someone who does not own a dog to post or edit changes to the dogs pedigree.

If anybody can post or edit pedigrees, can you delete the false ones?

Someone who was interested in your litter may have put the pedigrees together to check the mating, not realizing you can do a mating check. There were previously alot of these in the database.

It looks like you can delete it. Nice looking litter BTW

I do believe I can delete it also. Just strange to me someone would add a pup with the same pedigree as me B litter with a C litter Pup.Since she has not had her C litter yet.Oh well no worries. Thanks Animules on the litter. It has turned out to be superb so far. They are all heading to there new homes this weekend.Except for one.
