I am currently looking at this beautiful pure black female. Her name is Sasha Marie Cimmerian Gorka and she is three years old. I am curious as to what everyone thinks of her and her lines. I love Itis von der Wildsau (and Chuligan z Pohranichi Straze CS). What makes me curious about her is really her mom's side as I am not so familiar with that side as I am to her fathers. Sasha has no titles yet, but has been worked in agility, and could easily receive her CGC and therapy title. She has GOOD hips and NORMAL elbows. Her owner does not think she really is a working dog, but can do everything else.

Her owner is moving out of State and is really open to any offers on her price. She was asking $1200, but will lower it to almost anything just to find her a home soon. Sasha is really what I am looking for in another female, I just do not want to pay too less for her. I do not want the owner to feel like she was ripped off in any way. We have a great home for her and she still acts much like a puppy, which my shepherd, Sadie, does all the time. The way the owner describes her, Sasha sounds like she could of been a twin of Sadie just black in color instead of sable. =)

I have more pictures of her and some of her last litter pups pictures along with a copy of her OFA scores.

Let me know what you think,
Thanks in advance!

Please tell me Peggy Sue doesn't have this dog.  I remember the dam of your female, Peggy let her and Ela that I had, be around each other and they looked like sisters. I can't remember what type of dogs this female puts out, but I do know Igor does put out some nice high drive puppies. Who has this dog? because Peggys dogs seem to be very lacking in the socialization department. While the right genetics may be there......she never socialized them and they are spooked.

I do know both parents are owned by Peggy at least, and she even had a dog currently that interested me....but from previous experience and seeing how her dogs really are.....I just wouldn't deal with her or many other people.  She has an Iltis von der Wildsau son on her site, but who knows what his temperament is really like. You're in Michigan aren't you? If the dog you're looking at is in Michigan I would go see it in person.

Nope Peggy does not own her. I really made sure of that. The Gorka family owns her. Sasha is really sweet and loving, acts just like a puppy, which she would fit in with Sadie greatly. I was just really curious about her lines more. We are both in Michigan. I have a meeting plan to visit her soon, but like I said, I am just really curious about her lines. What her lines realy produce, high drives, etc.

I am sorry to hear about your bad experiences. I actually have contacted Peggy in the past, but never really got that gut feeling to get a pup from her. I hope that is understandable and makes sense. Instead I went to Indiana, and bought my girl that I have now and I wouldn't change a thing, well maybe my stubborness. =)

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/520531.html  Check out that dog.... shes excelling in her work towards her schutzhund titles.......I personally don't know THAT much about the males side, but I do know that they've produced nice dogs.  Rocky would be a brother to the dam of the dog your looking at.  And Igor would be a sister to the sire of the dog your looking at.   Zeldas drives are way over the top......but that doesn't mean your dog will be..   She has good nerves, and is very confident......excellent temperament too.

I personally love Lord Roc. Rocky is beautiful, no titles, but is gorgeous. I would love to meet him so day soon. Do you own Zelda?

Be careful bringing in a second female.

I would also be careful bringing in another female, especially if neither are fixed. Sasha is a gorgeous girl but how is she with other adult female's that are not fixed? I guess what you could do is bring your female with you on your visit to see Sasha, but introduce them away from Sasha's property and see how it goes. Just a thought.

Thanks everyone!

Sasha is great with all dogs, unaltered or altered. Sadie is the same way. Neither are alpha. Actually believe it or not, my chihuahua/poodle, Cujo, is our alpha and is only five pounds. He is the man around here. We were thinking about meeting at a park or something like that. I really appreciate all of your help.

I use to own Zelda, that dog was a firecracker.....if I could go back in time I would have never sold her, but anyways.... Lord Roc.....or "Rocky" is owned by Irene at Guardian German Shepherds.    If you want a dog for sport  Irene will be having another litter out of Rocky and Isiz probably spring of 2009.   I'm looking around right now and I'm considering either a puppy out of them again for the sport, or one out of Zelda/Kevin.......or I'm looking to the KNPV side of things. I'm trying to see who else is out there, whos reputable and who has dogs who can do it all because I would like to do more than just the sport.    Neither Rocky or Isiz have titles, but the puppies will work I guarantee that.  I had talked to someone else before who has a littermate to Zelda.   I can only tell you what these dogs will put out or be like, I don't know how the female you are looking at will be as far as temperament, drives, or anything else.
