Rugers Guru

by Rugers Guru on 28 August 2008 - 05:08

I own Ruger, and he is a very hard boy, Clear head, and comes alive on the field, deep hard bite, working on tracking, and obedience. I have had him since 12 weeks and NO health or temperament problems. I am just not experienced enough to look at the pedigree and know the history or stories behind the dogs in his lines are. Oh, and he is going to have his prelim. for his hips in Jan. Any input would be great.  I purchased him on recommendation  for Schutzhund, and he is doing beautifully.

Sorry, can't help you much. Nice looking puppy, but what I know about Czech/Eastern European lines and how they cross on the lines I do know something about wouldn't fill a thimble. Good luck with your baby boy.

I purchased him from a great breeder in texas, she has since moved and purchased larger property in Kansas. She owns Caya v.d.Schodin, and her father owns Dag vom klodener riss. This was their first breeding. Hopefully will be repeated, Ruger is over the top. He is an only dog, but has the best of both worlds, he is a family dog, and trains almost daily, goes to work with me and looooves children. The picture I have posted is when he was about 6 mos. old. She has kept 3 of his brothers to train herself.  Here is her link www.prestigek9.com

this dog as a nice mixture of Czech and DDR (East German) lines. Based on the pedigree he should more than be adequate to do the sport.
