Hey, what have you heard about this dog food.  It advertises that it is grain free.  Anyone used it?

by eichenluft on 28 August 2008 - 03:08

excellent food, with normal (not too high like other grain-free kibble) protein level, dogs love it, comes in several different formulas (venison/bison, fowl, fish) and reasonable priced also compared to others. I use it and highly recommend it - the dogs love it and are doing great on it! molly

Molly--

My 7 yoa female has a very sensitive stomach and is prone to loose stool.  Have you used it on a dog with a sensitive digestive system?  Thank you for your assistance.

Hailey, my boy has a touchy tummy and does well on this food.

I don't have any dogs with sensitive stomachs.  However, I do have more than a few dogs, and all do great on this food, including elderly, young, puppies, in work, newly imported, dogs in heat, pregnant, nursing - no problems.  Firm stool and they gobble it up.  Nice coats, too.

Thank you guys very much. Not only does she have a sensitive stomach, she is a picky eater as well. And, it looks like it would taste good if I were a dog, so I think I'll give it a try. Thanks again.

My dog has been on it for a few weeks now. He is a VERY picky eater. He does not like the food and I switched him off of it to blue buffalo fish and sweet potato. I also have my rotty and my mali on blue buffalo and they have very sensitive stomachs as well as a lot of skin problems. They are doing great on it and my shepherd that was on taste of the wild goes crazy for this new food and his coat, skin, eyes and teeth have never been better. But, I do do half raw half dry. Hope this helps you out.

I feed a mix of raw and Taste of the Wild.  My dogs love it.

I have one picky boy and he wouldn't eat the salmon so I switched

him to the Bison and he cleans the bowl.  I have had no loose stools

or any other problems while using it.

Ditto to what Molly said about TOTW.

BTW, no healthy dog will starve itself to death. When your "picky" dogs get hungry enough they will eat what you give them. Stop switiching foods trying to tempt their appetites. This is a battle  you must always win  or you will be very, very sorry .  Aren't you smarter than a German Shepherd?

I have fed the salmon formula to my two GSD for several months. My male is seriously allergic, has auto immune disease, PF and sensitive stomach. He is in better condition then he has ever been in his life. I also use K9 show stopper and feed some raw. I have also noticed that both dogs teeth are cleaner. I didn't think much of it to start but its definitly the food. I also gave some to my Mom for her allergice Eskie and have seen the same results. I hope the quality and formula of this food stays consistant because imo its a top quality food.
