In home psychological dog training - Page 1

If you live out east and are in the process of looking for in-house psychological dog training, PM me before you hire anyone.  One of our posters here was seriously ripped off and threatened by a trainer who has appeared on the radio and is a public figure.  He took her for $5K and a puppy and then threatened to destroy her and her GSDs if she ever talked about it. This matter has now been reported to a federal law enforcement official who  is also a member of homeland security and a case number has been assigned.

Sounds more like "In Home PsychoPATHIC Dog Training" to me.

Why not just continue the thread with updated information?

Better yet, why not just post the name of this trainer, advise anyone looking to do their reasearch as with any trainer and let it go at that?

As you said truth is an absolute defense against defamation (libel, slander).  Hidin' in the bushes about it all isn't.  And as your original post read

So either you don't have the victim's permission to disseminate this information or it's the victim who will pick and choose who should know about this guy?

What good is this thread or the other thread to anyone without information?  Some kind of "stay tuned" teaser for the 10:00 news?

JustLurkin, thank you for summarizing re-listing useful info about this case.  This case is complicated and has involved serious terroristic threats, some accross state lines. I am doing what I can to help the victim within acceptable perameters.  I will post warnings periodically as appropriate to help protect other potential victims until this perp is brought to justice and made accountable for his crimes so that others who are looking for such training can PM me and receive more specific information. (this story will be repeated on other web sites in addition by some other folks who know the situation and want to see this perp stopped).  You do not have a need to know anything more about this.  When the victim decides to release his name publicly, or others who know his identity do so because of what he has done to scam them (she has no control over that), then you will know.  I won't do it publicly at this point unless I am threatened one more time by this perp.  Interesting that you are so interested in this case.  I have no idea whether you are one of the nam de plums used by this perp to populate this site with harassing, confounding or time wasting posts.  You are a relative newbie, I don't know you or have any knowledge of your dogs, don't like the tone of your posts either and have no respect for anything you have posted for various reasons, so let it go at that.

God but you are a pompous ass.  I have an interest in this case only because an immediate family member is considering (and can afford) good in-home training for a Springer Spaniel.  She lives out of state from me and I'm not there to be able to evaluate who she gets.  Nor do I have the resources to investigate anyone she considers.

I'm a "relative newbie" here because I've only recently started posting.  That damn sure doesn't mean I wasn't here long before then reading. 

I've read some of your posts.  Some I agreed with.  Some I didn't.  You still come off as a pompous ass.

The only problem I have is:  Practice what you preach.  He wanted Joseph to post the police report number,(IE, the 87yr old persona wanting a dog thread) ect....and called him a liar.

So, given that, why can't Preston simply post the name of the trainer and be done with it?

Again, I have nothing against P.  I just think that if you are going to "make" someone else do something, that you are not willing to do, then you are being a bit hypocritical.
