I met Bruce Lee in 1964. He handed me a trophy. A moment I will never forget.

I used to watch all his movies when I was younger, I can't believe you actually met him in person. That's pretty cool..My big thing was I met Dan Blocker (Hass Cartwright from Bonanza ) in Akron Ohio when I was a kid.

What did you get the trophy for?

That's Cool! I loved all the Cartwrights and Hopsing. Bruce Lee, handed out the children's Kumite Trophies, for Ed Parker's International Karate Tourney, at Long Beach, California.  I was 11yrs old.

There was a Ed Parker's dojo in Akron when I was a young kid, I wanted to join but my Mom couldn't afford it because she was recently divorced. My friends and I would get together every Friday night at 7:30 to watch JohnnyQuest and The Green Hornet.

I knew Ed Parker very good. I knew his brother in law, Daniel Pai, even better.  Parker, was  the one who introduced Priscella to Mike Stone.  I really did want a piece of Stone, as Elvis was my Idol.

I remember Little Joe, threatening to cut off Hopsing's queue lol.

Now that you mention it, when I met Dan Blocker (he came to our catholic school) he was in a parade with all the rest of the Cartwright's but hopsing wasn't with them, bummer.

Anyway, didn't mean to hijack your thread, but good to remember old times.
