SICK DOG.... Yes I was lied to about it being vet checked. Within a week that the dog got here I took her to be spayed at my Vet's office and found out that she had chronic anaplasmosis that would have been picked up by any blood work. The dog almost hemmoragged to death and it was such a nightmare. After arguing I got some of my vet bills paid but not even half, and got a small amount of money refunded (1k to be exact) and now my dog is suffering from acute renal failure and can barely take care of herself let alone protect my family so you tell me people do you think I got a good deal ! They never even called after they refunded me the $$ to see how she was doing, they just wanted me to disappear and fall off the face of the earth. I'd post the transcripts but I think Tauyna and Josef would be mortified by the way I was talked to and treated. Found out after the fact the dog they sold me they bought from someone else and blamed the health issues on them of course. I HOPE I WAS AN EXCEPTION TO EUROSPORTS TRACK RECORD.

I feel terrible for what you are going through. I have to say that our Club has imported a dog(female) from Euro and had nothing but great things to say about them I helped with the Import of the dog and she came to healthy, sound and exactly what was told to me and her future owner. She has had NO health problems , it's been a year, I get to see her every training night and she is an awesome sports dog with some very serious drives. Blood work, unless before you BUY the dog you "requested" blood work , the seller most likely did not know the dog was sick.. For shipping all you need is a "health Certificate" no blood work required. Now unless this dog was sick prior to you getting the dog and they did blood work and found out she had chronic Anaplasmosis and still decided to sell the dog ,well that is not right .But I don't think that Euro would do that. Again so sorry for what you are going through, maybe some good will come out of this and I wish you luck and hope your dog gets better and lives a healthy life. I had asked for a specific female from Taunya (at Euro) and she was honest to say she had nothing for me, she could have sold me anything and instead she was honest.I really cant see this being malicious, really. I hope if something can be done on their end , they step up....

What sort of health guarantees were given? I went to their site and didn't see any info on this. Aren't there some basic state/fed consumer laws in place to protect people from being sold animals with undisclosed pre-existing illnesses? This seems like a very big deal and not just oops we didn't know or sorry bad luck. If they didn't know she was sick they should still accept responsibility that the dog is sick and got sick before she arrived at the new owners home. If they were selling the dog for someone else they still are the ones selling her as healthy. A vet check gives the buyer the impression that the dog is healthy and this wasn't the case, so for non-professional/less savvy buyer there's a false sense of security.
At the very least this is really bad customer service sounds like if you get a good dog they're great but if you have any problems there's no support because they certainly didn't explain themselves to the satisfaction of the OP or this thread would not have been started. It would a completely different story if the dog got sick a year after purchase, then they would not be responsible but it doesn't sound like that's at all the case here. I would expect more especially from a large well known breeder.
I'm I way off base here?
