LillyBug

After many failed attempts at creating a decent attachment for my flirt pole, I thought I'd ask the board for suggestions on either how to make a good attachment or where to buy a good attachment.

I'll list the purpose of the desired attachment, so as not to waste anyone's time on responding.

I need an attachment for working puppies-young adults. Preferably of the rag sort, not tugs or balls.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Feel free to PM if you so wish.

Why not use a Hide?  Can usually get them at any processing plant. For sale on net as well.

Thank you, I've tried working with the hides before, and for some reason (probably the fact I failed my Home Ec. class as a teen) I cant seem to get a good stitch around the loop hole. I also found one at:

I have another question: What makes a better bite rag, what type of material? This whole time I've been looking at leather, but yet have no idea how the Jute or other materials work.

with very young pups i use a soft rag or shamie (sp?),,,  easy to bite and gives them success.  as they get older i switch them to leather.  its harder to hold, and they learn to grip it or lose it.

White Trash materials, work the Best! I might add, if you need any heavy duty sewing done, any Saddle Repair Shop, should be able to handle your needs.
