My 3 year old female German Shepherd has begun shedding enormous amounts of fur. I recently (approx 3 weeks ago) changed her food to an all natural salmon chicken no grain meal produced by Merick www.beforegrain.com. The packaging is black with a large #2, other then that I see no other name to identify the product.. I am located in Toronto where the temperature is a somewhat steady 78 degrees and we are expecting an early fall, My dog appears to be in excellent health. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Bob

When i switched over to an all natural food for my shepherds from Eukanuba, they started to shed really bad after about 2 weeks. The shedding stopped after about a month or so. They still shed pretty bad, but its not as bad as it was.... At least that's what i think.

First, she's not coming into heat is she? That makes my girl shed in large clumps of hair.
But I had another female who was spayed but on EVO and that food made her hair fall out but it was after about 4 months of eating it.
