I'd love to see some televised Schutzhund or agility also, but I do believe the Olympics is for humans not dogs.  Try animal planet, LOL!  I must say that showing an entire marathon for over 2hours was quite boring.  No offense to the runners out there.  I do some running myself, but showing it for over 2 hours got a little old.

Hey olympics is tradition. and it happens every 2 years (summer/winter), and schutzhund is a dog sport not human :) hahaha but good idea I think some might actually enjoy it over there.

It's politic's and a lot of money,

The network paid billion's for the right's.   Right's!!  that's a funny word in China.

The people of China are proud of their Olympic's, even the one's who's home's were destroyed and who had to relocate.

Never judge a people by their government's, and yes it is a lot of coverage but you would watch it if it were your friend or family member competing.

The Olympic's is not what it once was that's for sure.

It's called the WUSV and it takes place every year.  This year it will be here  in the US in the Cinci area.

I agree with k9vangogh if they can have all of the Equestrian events I think they should have a dog event.

And umm hello don't forget about the helper's work

Strangely enough this was a conversation we had on Saturday.  However we realised that with dog passports not being the same globally and there still being problems with dogs entering some countries depending on where they originated, that depending on where the olympics were being held that some if not many countries could be excluded.

We quite agree that something with dogs would be much better than some of the sports that are currently going on at the moment.

Do horses have the same passports world wide?  What did they do when the Olympics were in Australia?  Isn't a must they had to quaratined for 6 months?  How did that work?
