Opinions please - Page 1

Hello! I've asked opinions on this pup before when he was younger, and now he's 10.5 months old. His hair issue has calmed down as well.   I would love to hear comments on what you think and his structure to the best you can see...I'm not the best picture taker or stacker...working on it!  He's going to his first show in October just working on securing a handler.....actually a very big show for his first one, but I was wanting an idea from the experienced on how he looks.  Of course to me he's "perfect" and the best dog I've ever owned...so I'm blind to his faults and new with showlines as well.  He is also more red in color in person than what the picture shows. 

Tips on how to teach/practice a proper stack would be appreciated as well! =)  Also if there's anything I can do to prepare him for his big show?  He will just be 1 year old at the time of the show...and I know the classes can take quite a while...any tips on preparing him for that??  Thank you! =)

And don't be afraid to give negative critique...You won't find him up for sale regardless of what anyone says like others have been put up after asking for critiques.  This dog is a part of my family and very spoiled =)  Not to mention excellent drives.  If he doesn't make it as a show dog or Schutzhund for some reason...he's already doing VERY well in Cadaver Training. 

I think he's gorgeous! Can I buy him? 

He has a beautiful head, nice masculine expression. I like his level topline, and high withers.

As for preparing him for the show, I'd get a pro, or find a class somewhere to teach you how to stack him. I'd also take him on some nice, long walks to muscle him up a bit.

He's looking good, your picture's are good too.   It takes three people to get a picture of mine..LOL

I hope I run into you at the show, I'm just going to have a look see and maybe meet a few people.

I think he is nice too! I think the picture is being taken a little to much to the front, it needs to be focused more toward his middle. His front legs could be under him a bit more and his back legs look a little to far apart. The off side a bit more under him. I am not no expert just what I see.

Thank you very much.  Yes, definately will be using a pro for the show..lol.  I hope to run into you as well at the show, Brent....will be my first one, and a big one at that...I was hoping to go to some smaller ones for practice and get the hang of things but it never quite worked out. 

How does his weight look?  To me he is too thin,  he doesn't care to eat much and is extemely active...don't know if it's the heat possibly...and he's a social eater. (and has a very senstive stomach) .I have to be right there with him for him to eat....and will eat one kibble at a time.  More interested in playing.  (Yes he's spoiled)

Thank you Sunsilver =)  But he's definately not for sale...hehe.  I'd be devestated! The breeder did a great job with this match in my opinion...I know she was considering doing a repeat breeding at one time though!  He was the only ;male in the litter...and his sister is doing very well in the showring =)

He looks like he could gain a little before the show, what does he weigh now?

Indy just turned 8 month's and is around 80 pound's, he eat's like a pig tho.

Mine are not eating well right now either, it's possibly the heat, they have all been shedding, two are coming into heat this month at the same time, a real handful.
