Before someone starts bitching about posting in the wrong place for bla bla bla this is not an advertisement.

I do not owne this dog but I do owne a son of his and I feel he is very unknown due to his location which is in Hawaii.   This dog has produced some very nice progony and its a shame that he is not used more often since he is passing such good dogs.  Anyone who is a breeder should be aware of this dog as a possible future stud.

The problem with being in Hawaii is that they have very strict laws about bringing animals in and out of the state.  There is a long quarantine period.  Here are their import/export requirements. http://hawaii.gov/hdoa/ai/aqs/info

A woman I know that breeds Bengal cats, just tried to move back but they won't allow her cats even though Bengals are now registered as a domestic breed.

Iv'e never seen the boy work, but there are some questions I would ask.

Why is this dog Sch2 at 7 years old?  I would like to know why he hasn't gone for a 3?

What's the record on hips for Jago's progeny?  Not the best score.

If I use him as a stud can I stay at the residence for a couple of weeks with my family?

Even without restrictions, Hawaii is a long flight.  There are many good dogs closer.  This is ONE of the problems in America.  Many good dogs, but the US is huge and they are too spread out.  Your timing with a bitch in heat has to be precise and sometimes a lengthy trip can add some variables to the equation.  In europe it is nice to be able to take a couple hour drive to the stud.

If you PM me I will answer why i think he is only a sch2. as far as his hip history That would not be what i would look to him to improve in my program(if i had a program) but he hasnt produced crap hips either.

I completely agree with all you have said about hawaii restrictions but there is always frozen semen wich would be a good option

Hawaii sucks for schutzhund lovers and for GSD lovers
