Is this dog consider a working line or show line?         2006 World Sieger   VA Zamp vom Thermodos,

Thank you in advance for your responses.

dear,

Please definitely research the bloodlines, do an objective evaluation of your lifestyle. Since from you earlier posts you have owned GSD you should be fine. Though A lot depends on the genetics. If the breeding out of which you are taking your dog is scientific then by studying the temprament of the lineage you should have an idea of what is to come in the new puppy.

But definitely if the dog is worth his/her salt he would require work and good mental stimulation so be prepared.

If like me you are a bit older person then think twice because if the dog has strong working genetics you could have a problem on your hands.

cheers

I would also warn a first timer about the hair, lots of hair. Feeding better foods and a frequent brushing help, but they continuously shed.

what else can you say about getting a GSD for the first time? I am all ears as I want all the info I can get......

I know I have been looking and researching for over a year now, and have just decided that I am ready and that I have a little knowledge , have found a club to work with,  good food for the dog, enough time in my schedule, and what I actually want to DO with the dog........

Thank you

Cindy
