hello all. if a female goes into heat, can a different female with 5 week old pups be thrown into heat even though she has pups? thanks

I've had females bring in other females but I'm not sure about nursing bitches.

i know its not uncommon for females to be thrown into heat because of another female is cycling, a lot of the times they all go on the same schedule due to this. i got a bitch in today that just weaned her pups, but a bitch i already had started cycling 2 days ago and im hoping the new bitch doesnt come into season. by my math, it has been 110 days since her last estrus. and i apologize, the pups are 47 days old.

I would not think a nursing bitch would come into heat.
As for one bringing another one in, yeah I think it can have an effect.
