What constitutes the ideal front?
My understanding is that the angle between shoulder and upper arm , and upper arm and forearm , and the slope of the pasterns are the most important.
This is where I have a doubt. If the angle between shoulder and upper arm , and upper arm and forearm are as per standard, the front feet would not really lift much above the ground. So then why should the GSD's pasterns be so angulated - there should hardly be any shock to absorb by such a structure? What would happen if the GSD has feet like say a dobermann?
