Lexington, Ky. in October - Page 1

How many of you plan on being there?

It's been suggested that PDB member's who don't know each other might have a chance to meet other member's who might be like minded.

It's not the worst idea I've ever heard.

Is anyone interested? 

Just curious what other's think.

I plan to come up to Lexington on a Friday night and spend Saturday and Sunday at the show. It is not so far away; at three (3) to four (4) hours from my home. See you all there!

I'm going on Friday-Sunday this will be my 2nd show attending, I am so excited. we already have the room booked and my husband likes race horses so what better place to go. kill 2 birds with one stone. See ya there

I'll be there one day .. I dunno which day yet. I mentioned it to Mr Webb at my track I'll be going to Lexington, so instead of my RV and a personal vacation in the Campgrounds, I'll be bringing a horse trailer and one of his starter colts and be paid for transport and running the horse in a race, I'll stay @ his Racing Stable in Lexington. I get a bonus of 10% if the horse wins a purse. Good deal !! Doubt he'll win though. If by chance the horse doesn't make entry, and the chances are slim beings from PA, we have rats ya know, he has 2 fillies he wants bred. So it's a win win for me personally. Better use the new Dodge for this one. LOL

When does the fall meet start at Keeneland?  I'd love to be able to catch both.

I will be there. Have to be in Thursday as we show on Friday with the young ones.

Anyone else at the host hotel?

The Fall Meet is from October 3rd for G Starters and lasts till the 25th ending in G 3's. I think the weekend of NASS is the weekend of the Breeder Cup Challenges, all entries who win a race are auto entered in World Championships. Fun weekend, wish I had a GSD. Darn it.

I know a lot of people will be there at the NASS,

I was wondering how many would want to meet  and say hello.

Many may be too busy to take the time thats understood.

But for those with the time, when and where could such a thing take place?

I've never been there and have no idea.

Suggestions?

Not sure yet. Probably. If I am there I will be arriving on Wed. night most likely, staying at the host hotel. .

You are welcome to come by my "camp." Not sure what I'll be driving yet, but I'll have a tan EZ-up, a few pink-striped few chairs, and you can always recognize me under the hat!
