Hey guys...my intentions are not to get another dog right now. I have no dogs that are breeding quality, and only one who can do Schutzhund work. With that said, later next year I want to either find one here or import a dog or two, preferably titled. Who are some reputable kennels in Germany, and in the states? I've heard of Eurosport being good, what about Griselda? Any others? The price for the dog really won't matter, as long as the dogs have excelled in the sport and could be a competition dog for me, which will reside in my home when I make the move to Kentucky next year. They won't be used for breeding, but they should be of breeding quality. I'm just doing my homework a long ways in advance. Let me know guys, thanks.

I have an acquaintance who bought a titled Czech male off of Eurosport K9 and she's pleased as punch. I think you'll find many happy customers with that operation.
My current GSD came from von Hayden Shepherds and I can wholeheartedly recommend them. I live in the next county over, and I was able to watch the litter develop from week 1. I was very pleased with the good care that the all the dogs receive, and the quality of the breeding stock - all working lines though, so if you're looking for show dogs you'll need to look elsewhere.
I hope you find the dog of your dreams. Unfortunately this is not an easy task. If you import from Germany, unfortunately the weak dollar will jack up your costs as the dollar is still low against the Euro, and the cost of shipping continues to climb as airlines strap on fuel surcharges.
Good luck in your search!

I bought a female from a really nice breeder in Germany and we still keep in touch. He sold exactly what I wanted. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear but told me everything about her good and bad. I bought her titled and at a very fair price. She's had 2 beautiful litters , I see her offsprings in our Club. I would buy from him again if I was looking for a very nice working dog. Very nice pedigree on his dogs, small breeder but he KNOWS his dogs unlike some very big breeders Ithat have no clue what they have other then it's a male or female. Great guy and very honest..
I must add that my female is a bad a.. on the field..
Good luck ,
Angelique

If you want a true competition dog, you should consider a reputable broker, who has or had been a world renowned competitor himself.
I know of only two I would completely trust:
In the U.S., that would be Dean Calderon in Oklahoma, and in Germany, Frank Terhorst (Terry). I have known Terry for about 18 years now and can vouch for his integrity. He has stayed in the U.S. for a while and speaks excellent English. In addition, he has a German commercial broker license and is used by police and military to acquire dogs. Dean travels to Germany frequently and brings dogs back.
Personally, I know of a true competition dog for sale, unless the owner in Germany changed his mind. That dog only just turned three years old (in June), a Karn Fegelhof-son out of my own female Chuckie. He participated at the FCI Regional Qualifyer (LG 07) in Germany in April with a score of 282 . Together with his litter-brother (who had the same score), they received 6th and 7th place. My husband visited the club in Germany in June and heard that the owner was considering selling him and was asked if we knew of somebody interested. Now, a couple of days ago, I heard that he was most likely qualified for the BSP, that would mean that he might be for sale this fall. I was going to mention this dog to the Calderons, since they had a nice Karn-litter as well. Maybe, Dean would check that male out. But I am attending the BSP myself this year.
