My local Tractor supply has stopped carrying both of these foods, The explanation on the CS was that Diamond was making some changes and they were not going to be carrying it anymore. When asked about Biljac I was told everything they had in stock was returned to the manufacture. Does anyone have any information about either of these? My TS has a limited choice of decent foods, I had to purchase the Diamond Naturals Lamb and RIce formula, it was the only food in the store that did not contain wheat or corn. I spent over an hour reading lables yesterday morning when I stopped on my way to work. The food choices around here are getting slimmer and slimmer. They did have Ultra but I cannot justify paying 48 bucks for a 17 lb bag. nearest other place to get it is 80 miles away south or 50 miles north. Gas prices these days.......... ouch! not to mention finding the time to go. I have been working 7-7/7 days a week trying to get the shop remodeled

Shandra, I emailed Chicken Soup and they aren't planning any changes to their product, according to the DVM that responded. Don't know about Biljac.

thanks aatd, My tractor suppy said that they would have a new shipment in this week and that their Biljac supply was bought out by Blue dogfoods so that tractor supply would carry the Blue, not sure of the exact name of it.

It kind of made me panic because I switched mine over to the Chicken Soup which is the only premium dog food available locally. The rest is twenty miles away. When I lived in the mountains in VT everything was forty five mins to an hour away. Now I drive twenty minutes and I feel like I'm crossing the Great Divide!

tractor supply does carry blue buffalo.  that's what i am feeding right now.  (god, i hope it works out as i am so tired of switching and searching)  so far, i believe it to be a very good quality food.  check out the ingredients.  i like the idea of how many probiotics are included.  note their temperature requirements as well.  in addition, my dogs get some red meats and chicken hind quarters on occasion.
