Are females receptive to a male on the same days every cycle or will it change depending on a female's breeding experience, age, or environment? Also do they ovulate the same day(s) every cycle?

Thanks

Well, I don't think that answered your questions, but maybe its just me .. it's all variable.. I have had females receptive to a male before they were ready and then decide to be difficult when it was time. I have had females who were nasty if the attempt was made before they were ready and then turn into a breeders dream when the time came..... I have a girl who would drag me to the stud dog....

Some females are never receptive

Most bitches ovulate later in the cycle than we all used to think, in my experience.. we used to say day 11 and 13 and until they wouldn't stand anymore.. but nowadays we have science and technology and we don't have to guess anymore and most of the time I end up breeding around what I thought was day 16 or so..

Have sent girls to Europe to be bred and that changed their cycle as well....

Hope this helps
