Zeus is his name and it seems to fit him perfectly as he will be very large.Me and my family are moving soon and we are moving to where we cannot have a dog. He is a very playful, loving, cuddly dog. He loves to lay on your lap thinking that hes small enough, doesn't usually work to well. He is great with my 1 and 2 year old boy. He is also very smart and learns commands very easily and I have taught him a few myself. Hes good on the leash and gets along well with other friendly dogs. Hes 7 months old and weighs around 65 pounds and is still growning quickly, his father was about 110 lbs. He will make a good guard dog as well as a loyal family friend. He has all of his current shots, AKC Pedigree, rabis vac, and is wormed. Feel free to set up a visit if you would like to see him. Must go to a good home with plenty of room to run around, no apartments please. We're asking a $150 rehoming fee, several items will be included a bag of dog food, choker chain, leash, and new collar that he hasn't grown into yet. He listens as good as a puppy can. He is potty trained for 1 and 2. He is a very loving dog and deserves to go to a good family unfortunatly we can't keep him and we will miss him. Any questions feel free to call or leave a message 937-397-7888 or you can email me at joshuasmatthews@yahoo.com Thank you.

I called this guy and giving him a warning about Tim.
Times are getting hard for a lot of people. We will see more of this on craigslist I am afraid.
I told the owner to post pup here not saying that will be better. I also told him about the German shepherd rescue close to him.

Contact the person and send a link to the other thread you've got going. I think I've provided enough info to scare them into not dealing with anything to do with Helser. If they care anything about that pretty pup, they'll avoid him.

I am seeing an increase too in people wanting to dump their GSD. Unfortunately, most of the requests to take dogs are NOT related to the economy, but rather, that the dog has just bitten someone, or is poorly socialized and not housebroken and its' owner just died.
I took a look at the link for the rescue discussions and was dismayed at what I read. So many of the posters are people wanting to do something to help, but, in fact, when people who do not know what they are doing take in dogs, adopt them out etc., they often only create more trouble and uncertainty for the dogs. They often take dogs that frankly are unadoptable and that helps no one, unless the "rescuer" is prepared to keep the dog for life.
As for Helser, I am surprised that no one has filed charges against this guy with AKC, United Schutzhund Clubs of America or other dog organizations. He is someone who has been discussed here over and over and over during the past many years and his criminal record and lack of judgment is well known. People who live in his state should know he is there and do everything they can to warn people away before they come here with their sad "I didn't know" stories. This guy really takes the cake. What is most sad is that he has children too who have to grow up in this kind of environment of deception, theft, lying and cheating etc.
