How many of you use some type of food (kibble) storage containers, and what type seem to work best?

I use garbage dumpsters with a lid that locks. I like rubbermaid products, thay come in all shapes and sizes. I preffer the big ones for storing over 100 lbs of food. Not easy to move, so have it where you want it before you fill it up. I feed 2 types of food so I have 2 in different colors and like the lids to keep it fresh and bug free. They are also easy to clean when empty, just a little soap and water and a long brush to reach the bottom.

I use the large rubbermaid storage bins. with the snap on lids, Don't skimp on the cheaper brands the dont seal as good have worrker real well for 10 years.
I keep the sealed bags in a large metal trash can with lid I can get 2 40 lb bags in a 55 gal can. put a bungee cord over the top.
When travelling I use a toolbox. keep food inside in baggies. The toolbox is nice since its easy to carry does'nt rip like bags will and will keep the food contained if jostled around.
Best of luck jeff

I use the Vittles Vaults. They are food safe plastic and they really seal well.

I use the food storage containers which are fitted with a lid and can be purchased from Pets at Home. But I still keep the kibble in its bag in the container, so it stays fresher.

I find that the 20 gallon size Galvanized Steel Trash Cans with lids work best for me. Each holds about 75# and since I feed different "flavors" to different dogs, I have 5 all lined up and each is marked with it's contents. I go right down the line when it's feeding time. They are rodent safe, that was the issue here, field mice, and mice will go through plastic. Downsize is that since they usually have domed lids with handles they aren't good for stacking, but I store them side by side down the entrance way as mentioned. They not only are rodent safe but pretty much air tight and you can store chow loose in them (I have heavy lawn style bag liners in each) or put the full bag in and scoop right out of the bag. The 20 gallon is also small enough for me to move around alone.
