I cannot give you any information on Graybeck GSD as I have never heard of them.

But, I do have some unsolicited GENERAL ADVICE. I hope this is usefull.

Even If you get lots of reccomendations (from strangers), you are still responsible. Pretty pictures on the internet are just pretty pictures. Those pictures could be old. They could be pictures of some previous kennel where they were happy and had a good life. Maybe today they live in barren cages with nothing to do but eat rocks, have blown ears, no teeth, dull eyes and fur.

People swap these dogs around as if they were used furniture-starting with the Germans. Very few keep their old dogs.

Look what happened to poor, beautiful Dragon.

Trust but verify.

Go there yourself or have a VERY close friend go there for an in person inspection. Someone you would leave your children in the care of if something happened to your or at least for a couple of weeks.

Vote with your dollars.

When I visited kennels up and down the west coast, there were several SHOCKING surprises. People who seemed so together, so sincere (maybe they are) were a MESS (but they don't know they are a mess!)! Nothing I saw rose to the level of a reportable abuse. But, I would never encourage anyone like that by giving them my hard earned dollars for dogs leading lives of cheap food and quiet desparation.

It is not that I am just too Picky Picky. I am flexible. I feed raw and believe it is very important but I bought Pharaoh from a breeder who feeds very good quality kibble. It is the whole picture. What kind of life do the dogs lead? How are they like when they are loose and free to be who they are. Dog and children do not fake being happy.

If more people insisted on personal inspections before a transaction, dogs would be so much better off. There would be no puppy mills.

Vote with your dollars.

I agree go visit. I never buy a dog from a breeder that I can't go visit.

Go visit , and see for yourself. Recent ones here have had dogs shipped to their horror, opened a crate with not what they expected.

I went too a well known kennel years ago it was was sad to see dogs living in the portable crates. I did not buy from them because of that. If you can't build decent kennels for all your dogs then you have too many.
