This information was passed on to me today and they asked that I pass it on too. I won't print the whole email but here's the summary:
For those of you who live in the Tennessee area there is a great source of Green Tripe in Murfreesboro close to MTSU. $1.75/lb. packaged in 5 lb. FLAT packages. Storage saver.
The Green Tripe is from local USDA inspected grass fed cattle. The person does not ship yet but that might be a possibility in the future. Her name is Candy and her email address is agilebcs@comcast.net
Candy, the lady selling this, has both Great Py'rs and Border Collies and is active in herding and agility and is very knowledgeable about raw feeding. She has a beef heart/muscle meat/kidney mix too for $1.50/lb. in 2 lb. flats and that's also from the same source. Loca, USDA inspected grass fed cattle.
The person who emailed me says she's great to deal with, very personable and knows her stuff.
FYI.

Yes. It is too bad. Still, canned tripe is better than no "good" tripe at all.

That's good to know! Care to share? Might be worth my trip if I can buy fresh, frozen (not canned) from you both.

I'm in Georgia, Candy is in Tennessee.. but I distribute for a company called Oma's Pride out of Connecticut and Bravos is in NJ, I believe.. surely there is an Oma's distributor near you?? www.omaspride.com, thye are listed or you can call them...
Be careful though that's how I ended up doing this, no one in the area did and a group of us wanted to feed this way... I was the only one to make the call and take the plunge.. my customer list is pretty big.. always more people calling!!

LOL DKiah. No way I'll become any kind of a distributor. I don't feed the premade RAW food. I buy and package everything human grade that I get locally. Now I have a source of quality green tripe locally. Good deal.
Sorry I can't support your premade businss but I will be making the trip to buy the green tripe from Candy. Thanks for the positive info.
