What are some of the best combinations in a breeding that you have heard of or experienced. For example i have heard that  Nick v. Hie!@# over Aly von Vord!#$% in a pedigree works well together with nick in the father side(just an example, i dont know if this has any truth).

I cant wait to see the responses!!!!

Ps: I love learning about this stuff its like CRACK!

For westlines, I like Nick over Yoschi.

Nick over the Tom line is doing well and people are starting to do this more now.

A lot of korbelbach stuff combines well with Fero stuff.

With korbelbach in the damn or sire? Do these principles work with just those dogs or do they work with there progony as well. Like if i took a fero related girl and mated her with a korbelbach related male could i have similiar results?

Nick vom Heiligenbösch,  Sirk vom Belchen, Belschik von Eicken-Bruche are good examples of this type of cross.

Gipper vom Fruhlingsbach is one that pops in my head as a more recent good example that people may know.

Smartguy,

be careful with Bito-blood!! The incidence of HD is quite high in his offspring. Brother Buster had a much better track record.

Having said that, I am going to breed my black V-rated girl to a Bito-grandson for her next litter, but Alex is also a Lasco-son and there are no problems there. Also, my girl has never produced HD. All have a1 hips (except one who is not rated because of a pet home). I have looked and noticed that there are not many Lasco-offspring (if any) here in the U.S. Alex is located in Germany. His sire, Lasco still produced puppies until a few months ago. www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/409877.html

ts funny that you are looking in the von den schwarzen Seeperlen area because i have a boy that is related to one of there breeding females by way of father jago von der guten nachbarschaft. I actually considered breeding my male to there female but now that you told me about Bito histoy with hips maybe i will look for a buster female and go that route.

this is my boy http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/548108.html

The girl i was looking at as a possible one day was http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/429275.html

thanks for that info
