Around here Verizon suck's and junkyard dog's are not chained up once the gate's are closed....LOL.
I dont think the ad make's the dog's look bad but it does prolong the myth. Ya gotta wonder who thinks up this shit.
I watched the one about trying to re-learn to drink coffee after quiting smoking, its insulting.
My answer is, ( I don't buy their product's ! )
I'd like to see that same commercial using a pair of Yorkie's..LOL

I wish they had used chained Yorkies. I guarantee the commercial will cause tens of thousands of thugs and idiots, want to get a APBT, for all the wrong reasons.
When we were in Colorado, my wife and daughters all had Verizons. Verizon doesn't offer service in NW Texas. We were able to get out of our contract.
The commercial will cause more of this

If Verizon spent more money on equipment they wouldn't need the commercial's. Att and Cingular merged I guess and they offer me much better service here amoung all the hill's and hollow's.
The dog fighting story is all too typical. They had been finding dead dog's here last winter from someone's operation, I don't think they have caught them yet.
The idiot's here talk the talk, pitbull this and that. I'm not knocking em, I just prefer my Shepherd's. I don't argue with the local redneck's, live and let die is my new motto...
Right now we have a problem with wolf hybrid's someone dumped or released, several have been shot and a few are still in the wood's. They attacked a dog in a yard probably for food. Another sad situation due to stupid people.
