This dog was imported from Germany around the late 1960's, early 1970's. He was shown to multiple Best in Shows (AKC) by LaMar Kuhns. He's in the database, but there's not much information. I did see him at a local show some 35-40 years back (darn I'm old 
) where he won Best in Show.
If AKC judges still recognized and rewarded dogs like this old guy, they'd be a lot better, at least in my opinion
