Poor girl. It is getting WAY too common to find titled dogs in the local shelters and reascues. Here's yet another example: http://www.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=11378922

So, has GSD rescue been contacted? This dog would make a great dog for someone....Let's get her out of there....I am too far away to take her, but I would pay part of her adoption fee, if not all of it, if someone would go get her!

Find someone who is interested and I will pitch in as well. With my failing health the last year I have too much time to look around and I am seeing so much of this type of thing. SAD!! Michael Carrol lives up that way. I wonder if he might know of someone interested. His kennel is Vom Nordosten Haus. I will email him and some others I know up East. If you can find out exactly how much and all I will send some money.

No one knows. I will be calling the AC unit as soon as it opens, to attempt to get some particulars.
At that time, I am going to find out if she in danger of being euthanized. If she is, I would like to see her out as soon as possible. If not, there is some time to arrange someone to take her.
It seems, by the petfinder ad, that she might not be good with other dogs. Maybe this is the reason for release? Who knows....but, hopefully we will know more soon.

But a obedienced titled dog who is not friendly with other dogs is almost impossible

Not always....dogs can be taught to "inhibit" their behavior in the ring, but be dog aggressive at home.

Do they know who bred her and has that person been contacted? There are plenty of GSD owners in CT, surely someone there can foster her until she is rehomed.
