I received a message from GSDFAN that her beautiful Chili passed away on Tuesday. Chili just turned 6 years old and was diagnosed a few months ago with Lymphoma. Melanie let Chili have the time of her life these past few months. Brought her back out to training in both obedience and bitework, swimming, dock diving and some just plain old quality time together.
Chili was a beautiful spirit and truly loved Melanie. They had an incredible bond that just warmed your heart when you watched them work.
My heart goes out to Melaine, Frank and little Devon. I know Devon used to tell me that Chili was her sister.
Rest in peace sweet Chili. I know my Reno will help show you the way.

I am so sorry to hear that. Some dogs leave paw prints on our heart and we are never the same.

Melanie, I wish you streangth in this time. Everytime I hear of anothers dog passing, it brings me back to losing mine. Tears sting my eyes with you. Chilie will have a huge pack to greet her where she goes. I'm glad you knew and had time to prepare, take pictures and love her just a litlle bit more at her end.
