Your dog must be just about 2 .. not quite maybe??? Is he a Kanto Firecatcher son??? We have a new club member witha dog named Barrack out of this kennel....... I'm thinking they could be litter brothers..
Congratulations!

Was the judge Bill Szentmiklosi? It looks like him.
Your pup looks really great at times when the leash comes off, his attention and heeling look great!
I love the recall, I call that the "typical BH recall", I think 9 out of 10 BH dogs do the same thing, either go right to the heel position, or run around the back of the handler!
Looks like he is a happy dog and you two have a great relationship!
If I can make one comment, you may want to change your about turns to a wrap around, with a nice sized GSD this tends to be a much cleaner and much more correct about turn. His drives seem to be preety nice, so I think he would show very well with a wrap around. But that is just my opinion.
I had a flip turn on my about turns with Sasha and literally changed them one week before our BH to a wrap around, MUCH better, we looked really sloppy until I changed them! Our finishes from a front position are flip, but about turns are wraps. I think with Jager I am going to only teach the wrap, even on finishes. I see more dogs more correct more often when they wrap as opposed to flip finish. We are a bit behind the curve on our training, but getting there!
Regardless, best of luck to you, you kept your composure and I think you two will do well together! ~Kari
