Dose anyone knows of a good SCH club in Connecticut? If not NY, NJ, PA within 100 miles of Stamford, CT? If I won’t find a good SCH club within the state of CT I will be looking for a SCH club within drivable distance of Stamford, CT that has its meetings (training sessions) on Saturdays. As well when is the right time to start training for SCH? Thanks.

I guess there is nobody on this forum in my area? Man, I love my city, but GSD are working dogs are so rare in this city its not even funny.

Give folks time to respond!  Some people might be at work, and not be able to answer till they get home tonight!@

Hang in there!

Have you checked on the USA website or the WDA website?

Yes I did check it many times. And its been a dead end. Absolutely no respons from the clubs :(. What is the right age for a dog to get him involved in SCH? This is my bigest question.

There is a USRC club up that way that is primarily a working club. I know they train schutzhund and have 2-3 trials a year. Last trial they had pulled like close to 30 entries.

Although it's a Rottie club there are quite a few GSD's that train there. Hope this helps!

Keith refers to is indeed a USRC club, but isn't it realy a gsd club? It is Bogdan Sergo's club, and he was a SV (gsd) and WDA judge and gsd competitor, before losing his judging licenses. Bogdan is a good trainer. Check out Garden State Sch club --the club is a USA club.
