Naya's Mom

by Naya's Mom on 04 July 2008 - 20:07

Okay, as if you haven't figured out (which I am very sure you have) most of what you "know" about me isn't fact.

So, here's the truth:

I'm 17, almost 18, October 6th I turn 18.

I have been breeding goldens since I was ten, it was originally me who convinced mom to let me breed them.

I have naturally dirty blonde hair, though I dye it a rich dark hazelnut color.

I have green eyes, with dark greenish blue circles on the outside of my iris.

My mom has lost her job as a bus driver, and we do have to move, but the question is where?

I do aspire with every fiber of my being to become an English Teacher, and teach high school students.

I was cheated on by my fiance (he even asked my parents for my hand in marriage) and yes, I'm having a very difficult time getting over it.

I was raped January 31st, 2007, and I am still having a hard time getting over it.

All the times I’ve ever typed on here have been me, whether it was Naya’s Mom, Blue-Skye Kennels or any other name (had to change because my email addresses changed a lot) it was always me, my mother supported me being in a  dog forum instead of Myspace, or other forums like that.

So there it all is, the truth. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email, pm, or post on here.

You can choose to accept me now knowing the truth or stone me, that choice is yours, but hey, I just revealed more about myself than many of you “honest to god, truthful folk” would, so at least give me that much respect.

Thank you all for reading.

Krista, the 17 year old from Michigan

Hello Krista,

I never would of thought you were my age. (17)

I am seventeen as of June 17. I feel for you deeply. I do have to say, I never would of guessed you were going to be 18. You present yourself as a very responsible adult.

I also live in Michigan. I can understand having to move and the changes from that. The economy is horrible here and seems to only get worst. My parents are getting divorce (father cheated) and he lives in Durand. So, right now my little family (mom, brother and myself) are looking for a place. Hopefully we can find a house somewhere. You will hopefully find a place close by or in a better area.

I do wish you the best of luck. I am very sorry to hear that you were raped, cheated on, and had to find new homes for your dogs. My heart goes out to you. Just hang in there. It will get better. I use to think the worst would happen after finding out my father was cheating on my mom, but it has been almost a year (one year in September since he moved out and into his new girlfriend's house) and things seem to be getting better. You seem to love your animals and family. Loving them will make you stronger in the end. Well it has for me. Hopefully the worst is over for you and you can start fresh.

Just to let you know, I looked up to you for your breeding program. Actually, before you posted your ad about your dogs, I was going to call or email you and ask for you to be my mentor. I never would of thought you were my age, but I ACCEPT YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE and who you will become!

I am deeply sorry and my heart goes out to you and your family.

Krista:

I too was surprised. But have to tell you;

THere is a song I have sung , in public for years ,,,titled...My God is an Awesome God.  It is not hard to find a disc with it ...you will sing it till you die if you hear it and believe it.

Another hymn sung in most churches today has a line in it that says.:  My God and I go thru the fields together;;;;

those fields are the many days, months, hours, minutes, seconds and trials of life we live on earth...so grab hold to that thought and keep it....it works...I was fatherless all my life and God was my only Father...

Hello, little bit of truth never hurt any of us. I am guessing you missed your friends on the board.

Truth: I was lucker than you. My gradfather tried to rape me. However, my Stepfather and My Mother taught me no one has the right to touch me If I do not want it. I did not want it so I beat the heck out of him. My Father called me a liar and beat the heck out of me. Family secrets continue to hurt generations, I later found out he had raped my aunts and cousins. You are not alone, it is good that you can begin deal with it.

I am also sorry Naya will not be there to protect and comfort you, we all have had to make hard decissions in life.

Krista,

Many people face multiple and severe challenges growing up and still manage to live life with  integrity. I hope one of the first things you think about is how to live with integrity, regardless of what positive or negative things happen in your life. Starting with being honest about who you are might be a reasonable place to begin.

Good luck.

Hello, Yes, I did miss my friends (though be it few)

Also, I wanted to prove a little bit of a point. I am full of a great deal of information on dogs, and some of you have used my information...does it make my information and knowledge anyless to know that it comes from a 17 year old? I am afraid any information I do have, that is valid will go to waste...after all, what adult is going to listen to some dumb kid?

Just remember, some of you adults, before you knew I was kid did listen to me, and on some of the advice I issued, it worked for you.

Thank you, Veronica! I can use any and all help the good Lord is offering to provide.

Thank you all!

Howdy again.  If I remember correctly, you already told us (it might have just been me) your age at one point.    But I may be wrong.  Didn't I send you a copy of my CD?  If I remember correctly, you told me in an email, when you asked for a copy (I had offered copies to anyone who wanted one) that you were using your mothers account and that you were young.  I could be wrong, but it really doesn't matter.  You never did let me know if you received it or "cared" for it.  Wasn't you someone I sent one too way back when?  I'm just going from memory here and I could have you confused with someone else.  I did not keep the email.

I am sorry for the bad things that have happened to you, but you really needn't apologize or anything like that for being young.  Heck, most of us here would give a finger or two to be 17 or 18 again.  If there is anyone here who has never been young, please step forward

Take care.
