ok, i find these kinds of things and its just lights a fire under me, and i guess i should be like water on a duck, just let it roll.
found this breeder who has a small kennel and was advertising pups for sale between her two sables. on her homepage it gives the talk about how she is bettering the breed by OFAing and such. you go to the announced litter, and would you know, the male has one titled dog in his pedigree, 3 generations back, he is 7 years old, not titled, not OFA, bred to the female, SHE IS 1 YEAR OLD!, no OFA prelim, NO TITLE, pups are $800. claims it was an "accident breeding".
3 months later, has YET ANOTHER LITTER, same male, STILL NO OFA, and a female, a little over a year, NO TITLE, NO OFA, pups $800. Wanna guess the excuse? another "accident breeding".
claims she is not a bad breeder, claims this isnt her first rodeo (dont ya think she would know how to keep the female and male apart?)
i thought she would have learned her lesson since the first litter took 4.5 months till they were all sold.
she claims she will get the OFA done, but if that is the case, dont you think she would have got the male done by now!!!

Nope, not a coincedience, but not a durn thing you can do about it, except to educate potential buyers about what to look for in a good breeder.
