BVA - Hips & Elbows. How long is the wait?? - Page 1

I've just sent off my girl's x-rays to be scored by the BVA, does anyone have any idea of how long the current turn around time is?

Being a Veterinary nurse and an active Show person and breeder i do hipscores all the time. The current turn around from them being sent from the vets is  between 6-8 weeks although i have known them to take 12-14 weeks. The bva were resently sitting once/twice weekly. This is only for the hips i assume the elbows wud be same amount of time

Thanks Emma - that means a wait till the end of August, which isnt that bad.  Its just nice to have some idea.

Out of curosity do you know if they cash the cheque on receipt or when they score?  Just might be a way to see if they are on their way back.
