Good evening everyone,

I would just like to know which stack is more correct. This is my female whom I have been trying to get a correct stack with she holds still well I just am not good a positioning. Thanks

I would say the first picture is the most correct.  The hock should be perpendicular to the ground on the hind leg that is stretched.  Her front looks good on all the pictures.  When the rear leg is over stretched you will not see tne correct angle.

The first. The second would not have been bad but the photographer is standing nearer to her back end, making her look much longer than she is. Get down to the dog's level, center to the dog. Also, take your photo where there is less background, just a grassy area. All that stuff (house, road, cars, etc) takes away from your dog. I know she's had puppies recently, do yourself a favor. Wait until her coat comes back if you want to take a nice picture for a website or something. That post-puppy coat is not a good presentation.-

I like the third pic best, but her right hind is stretched to much and the grass is to long so you can't see her pasterns or feet. I like her expression better in the second pic, that one too her back right is way to stretched. She looks out of coat too. Also as mentioned, to much background activity.

Thanks everybody for your feedback. I am actually the photographer and positioner. So i have to stack her then tiptoe and try to position myself and take the picture quickly before she moves LOL. Its hard. And yes she is out of coat. Its slowly coming back. I mostly take the picture outside of my house in my neighborhood I would probably do best going to a park.

Thanks

LOL than they are all damn good!  I wouldn't get half turned around before mine would have their nose up my butt wondering where I was going.
