"I've seen lots of working dogs that are easily over 100 pounds . One of the winningest dogs in Schutzhund history is 120 pounds at normal weight. Viernheimi Delon the world dog in 96 weighed 115 pounds ."

Is this statement true.

this lady breeds 100-150 lbs dogs no OFA's and say they are within standard and I told I have never seen one that big on the field,

small petty argument

"Thin will win" is the motto, I've been told for show/competition dogs. Go figure, but it seems to generally be true.
Bigger, heavier dogs will get tired quicker than ones packing less weight around.
Also, consider the GSD standard. Dogs undersized or oversized will often get SGs instead of V and VA ratings. With Viernheimi Delon, he was VA and KKL1A. This means he would have to be well within the confines of the German breed standard. http://www.vomhausgochi.com/Website/standard.htm will give you SV standard, translated by Fred Lanting of Schutzhund USA in 1997.
"Males: Withers height 60 cm to 65 cm; weight 30 kg to 40 kg. Females: Withers height 55 cm to 60 cm; weight 22 kg to 32 kg"  This translates as acceptable males being around  66-88lbs, females 48 1/2- 70 1/2 lbs.
READ the German Standard yourself and see what the proper acceptable size is of a GSD-if you can find more updated standard online, check it out and go by it.
The GSD is not meant to be massively oversized. I'm sorry, but 150lbs for a GSD is not practical, ideal, or anything in my book.

I gave her the AKC and the SV standard and she send that message to me and I thought that if you have a" V" rating and a KKL that that ment that you were within standard I just wanted to make sure that I was right before I told her that she was misinformed.

I thank you very much I just wanted to make sure that I was right.
