100% not. I love long coats GSD. And I have pretty good eye for long coats as I choose to pick them over short coats. You always have to be careful when picking a long coats because not every long coat is a good long coat. It shouldn't be too excessive. Nice pup, but I don't think is a long coat. How old? Long coats look bit like that and this is at 6.5 week. BTW this would be not the excesive long coat, seen in europe. This would just a bit longe than the standard.

he just turned seven weeks, i have more pics when younger, ill post them, he looked to long then..1 weekthree wks6 weeks

1 pup in my litter, moms favorite looked like this, waves on the back, turning to major sheep fluff at about 5 weeks. Mine also had the best pigment and structure of the litter. He turned out a beautiful, standard coat, adult male. I'm sure yours will too. Good luck with the pup.
