Has anyone whose dog has chronic ear infections ever hear a popping noise from inside the ear? Took her to the vet and he said the ear looked fine and not not know for sure what was causing the noise. It sounds like water inside the ear.

You can try just gently washing them out with vinegar and water. The vinegar will help dry out the ears.

Thanks... I have just started doing this and using a 50/50 ratio; doing once a day. Someone suggested ear cleaner from bio-groom with boric acid and I have ordered a couple of bottles of it. Plan to use the the vinager for a few weeks and then maybe alternate with the bio-groom. Just found it strange the ear looked good so I am assuming the inner ear has water on it? I can put her on medication and it clears up but trying to find a way to control more natural as she has been on/off mediations for over six years.
