So I just spot this ad on CL and of course I emailed them. I feel too sorry for the little mite. Had her one week and already tired of housebreaking.

She is 7 weeks old. We got her at 6 weeks but my husband doesn't want to do the housebreaking thing anymore. She came with her first shots and has been wormed. She is great with our children and oves to play. Very loving. Looking for a forever home willing to take the time and patience to housebreak. Adoption fee applies

I also found out that they bought two pups from this breeder so that's why they are getting rid of this one. Or possbibly they are getting rid of both? They want $400 for the poor thing.

You have to have a license to drive a car or own a gun. You have to have a building permit before you build.
Maybe there should be a test before you're allowed to own a dog! No I don't advocate more regulations but this scenario is pathetic. Poor little prematurely seperated little guy deserves better. I suppose in the end he'd be a lot better off with a different family.

This is why I laugh when people say they want a pet but think they have to pay $1,00 or more because they want a pup. Spend a year in GSD Rescue and you will see dogs of ALL ages, lineage, from breeders who are Puppy Mills to breeders who are World Known. You can get ANYTHING, you just may have to wait a month for it.
Sad, but FAR too common!

Poor baby,he looks so lost,i cannot believe the irresponsibilty of some breeders,When i sell a pup its in the contract that if they rae to be rehomed they come back to me.The person that bought the pup obviously thought it would be easy to rear and are not willing to put any work into it.I am so worried for this baby. Please MI GSD find out more if you can i would love to hear more,my babies never leave until 8 weeks at the earliest..
I pray for a happy outcome for the poor baby.
Regards Shirl
