Have anybody heard about this dog? He is a UK champion. His brother is a Sri Lanka champion. I am planning to use his brother for a stud to my bitch sometime next year hopefully.

And you think these are good specimens? So much for your eye , even less for your breeding knowledge. lol

Well these dogs are bred to another standard in UK. There are 2 lobbies for GSD in the UK. one that goes after the german type GSD with the angulated back and those who call themselves the German Shepherd Dog League which breed dogs to with not so angualation.
So I guess people who have there 2cents worth are really insulting the judges who gave these titles.

Someone as got their wires crossed I suggest you look at the league website http://www.gsdleague.co.uk/ who are WUSV members
Those that breed the type you have put a link to call themselves Alsatianists and tend to belong to the German Shepherd Dog (Alsatian) Club Of The United Kingdom

srilankagsd there is only one standard for the German Shepherd in the UK, that relating to the German Standard , which the German Shepherd Dog League adheres to. According to reports read in the Dog Press this year the supporters and breeders of the type of dog you display here even thought the awsome Zamp vom Thermodos was a poor specimen. Nuff Said.
