It is now beyond obvious that the Enron loophole for speculation bubble building needs to be taken away immediately.  Oil is now being exchanged approximately 100-118 times from the well head to the retail gas station vendor.  It used to be a maximum of about three exchanges on the average.  Of course many want to know who is making all the money of these speculative bubbles which also exist in agricultural commodities now.  The simple answer is pension funds and institutional large block investors are speculating the proces way up as a collectively forced way to extract money from the consumer.  They feel a need to do this because they can't make anything off traditional investments anymore due to the debasement of our currency and mandated low interest rates.  Of course many retired folks are very stresssed because they can't even make enough off their retirement funds and investments to cover inflation.

Contact your Congresspersons and ask them to save our economy by immediately closing the Enron energy speculation loophole.

I plan on firing my congressman,  maybe the new guy will take the hint.

Excellent, Two Moons.  I say vote em all out asap.  We need common folks like us in Govt, no more elites who don't care about us or our families at all, and don't care if we have a job or not.

I truely hope it gets bad enough that everyone stands up and joins in.   A real mandate from the people.

Two Monn, I think that is what it will probably take to get real change.

I know I am really cutting back on dog events. I used to go to any show within 3-4 hours, now my radius is cut back to an hour and a half, an hour for AKC events. Just can't afford it.

I noticed gas went down about 13 cents a gallon by me this weekend. Still $4.10 for regular, though.

I was just saying this morning how terribly bad I feel for whoever gets elected this year. They have a hell of a mess to clean up.

Going to get worse before it gets better!   Have a feeling that more and more people are going to lose their homes, among other possession.  You're right, who ever does get elected has a hell of a mess to clean up, but it's going to take them a lot longer than we all think.
