I've been looking for AKC - Working Dog Sport Trial/Show Results but I can not find anything,
can anyone help?

I read somewhere that USCA and GSDCA could host 5 Events of this sort each (a year),
does anyone know whether there have been any other AKC-WDS Events/Trials since October 2007?

Turning your back on the AKC-WDS, by completely ignoring it or simply tolerating it
is not going to make it go away!
Working Dog Sport Regulations
Effective August, 2006
Published by The American Kennel Club
Initial judges will be those recommended by the AKC recognized Parent Clubs and must be approved by the AKC.
In addition, the Parent Clubs’ existing and recognized WDS judges will also be eligible to officiate.
VDH and SV and DVG Foreign Judges or other international judges from registries/organizations
recognized by the AKC will be eligible to officiate.
I think, prior to making "Foreign Judges or other international judges" eligible to officiate the WDS,
the AKC ought to recognize the Internationally recognized Working Dog Titles of all Dogs (and their ancestry), accredited by those same Judges and other Judges of those Registries and/or Organizations, just as soon as a dog applies for Registration with the American Kennel Club!
The FCI makes sure that the pedigrees and judges are mutually recognized by all the FCI members.
I know that North America is not a member country but what is the likelihood of WD Titles being recognized Worldwide,
and by other GSD Organizations, if foreign VDH, SV and DVG Judges were to officiate these Trials?
