I went through the academy with Tony . My brother works for the same department and was good friends with him.

Father's day. Tony was a single dad with three kids. This asshole shot him, and left his own child in the car.

F-ing scumbag.

What a very sad story, F scum bag is too good a description for this guy. Sorry for his family and friends. I am glad they have arrested the perp and hope he gets what he deserves.

Did you see the news clip about the guy some officers had to shoot and kill over the weekend because he was beating to death a child of 2 to 3 years along a public road? This baby was beaten so badly they need to ID him with DNA. Last I hears they still don't know who he was. At least the state doesn't have to pay for a trial and feed and house this cretin for the rest of his life. Justice was served.

A whole bunch of these scumbags need to be killed on the spot when the officers know they are the ones who shot and killed their own or a child like that...sure would stop some of the nutsy goofballs,,maybe...or at least save a few tax dollars...THE POLITICIANS DONT KNOW HOW TO SAVE DOLLARS..AND THEY KEEP MAKING LAWS TO FREE THE CROOKS, THE TERRIOSTS AND THE LAWLESS...

sO Its time for the Law enforcement to clear the streets...better do a good job ,,so no questions can be ask...I know we are coming to this in the next few years...its on its way....law and order....gun style and Vigilante posses will come back into exhistane, and this is very frightening..

Never seen so many evil people.......

That miscreant would have still been in jail and the officer would be alive today if he had served his full sentence. I know that the prisons need some leverage to keep control over violent prisoners but maybe the "good time" for good behavior could be replaced with "bad time" for bad behavior. If the prisons are full, let out non-violent offenders. Maybe contract some of this out to Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona. Fix the open door at the border and California prisons would decline by 18-33%.

In 1993 I got my first German Shepherd because my life was threatened by some miscreant my then husband had put in jail. I didn't think my kitty cat or the chihuahua would be much of a crime deterrent. So, I got a big fat German Shepherd Puppy and by the time that loser got out of jail, I had a serious crime deterrent with me at all times.

My beautify crime deterrent/anti carjacking device named Shadow lived to be 13.

So sad.  My condolences to his family, friends, and brothers and sisters within the law enforcement community.

A terrible outcome.   Likely due to a person who was probably let go by the liberal courts too many times, probably raised in a broken home with no father and no discipline and direction.  Here we probably have the results of ultra liberal courts and judges who don't enforce the laws, and a supreme court and appeals courts that have stripped the laws of any real bite against crime.  And on the other side of the fence we have the feds militarizing the police and making every effort to train them to harass and villify the innocent law abiding citizens.  Talk about justice perverted and turned upside down.  And many city govts pushing hard to have one police officer squads to save money, when anyone knows all police should have a partner in the squad at all times for good backup.  Instead of taking care of our police, we spend millions in Irag fighting for nothing, and we let our own police go without adequate backup, aderquate equipment, poor support in the courts and the "revolving door syndrome" and gross underfunding of the police.  Then our federal govt pushes them hard to  militarize them and paint the good citizezens as the enemy.  Sick, sick, sick.

GARD,

our condolences to Tony's family, friends and all who worked with him. What will now happen to his young daughters? Another name which will be added on here in Washington DC on our wall. So sad!

When I read this, I am so glad that my better half is not patrolling anymore. He received a few nasty threads too in his prime time when he arrested D.C.'s gangbangers and felons.

This is very sad, it happens every day somewhere, we only see bits and piece's.   Knowing what they face these men and women go out everyday and do their jobs.  They deserve our respect and appreciation for what they do.

Don't turn this into something it is not.   Just let them have peace now.

Your prayer's should be for the one's they leave behind, the children.

BKR.
