American Cancer Society Canine Calendar - Page 1

Just wanted to say congratulations to Rezkat and her dog Ike.  They raised enough money to be one of the "top" dog fundraisers and will be featured in the American Cancer Society's 2009 Canine Calendar.  I am so happy to report that 3 of the 12 dogs featured - are German Shepherds and participated on the GSDFAN's team.  We raised over $3,000 and are the second highest raising Canine Team.  My GSD Molly will be June and Ike and Raven will be August and November (not yet confirmed exactly which month).    As some know Ike is a SchIII and HGH (forgive me if buturing the herding title) and Molly has her bh, cd, Rn and in training for her SchI.   I am so proud to see our working dogs so well represented and doing a great job for a wonderful cause. 

So far the dogs have raised $60,000 plus and still going!  Pottstown Relay for Life has truly let the dogs out!

Again - Big Congratulations to Kathy and Ike!  Now we just have to figure out how to represent our month and our breed in the picture.
