This past weekend I attended a large WDA conformation show. The show was great but I was very disappointed in the handlers that felt like they could do anything they wanted to do. They would stroll into the rind, stand where ever and then leave the ring during judging. This was mainly done by European handlers and I felt it was extremely disrespectful to the judges.
The judges would ask the people in the ring to get them in catalog order and you would try and then poof they were gone again. It was hot, but it was HOT for everyone. This just delayed the show and made everyone cranky.
I know the handlers leave the rings in Germany for the Sieger show, but that lasts for hours.....I would hope they would have some respect for the judges here and do what they ask of them.
