Hi everyone,
My dog about two months ago appeared to get a small scrape on the top part of his nose above the leather. I thought he may have scraped it by the leather muzzle being placed improperly. The pigment on the rest of his nose is black and a little lighter near the nosrils(this has always appeared this way). I put vitamin e on it and it would start to scab and heal but then come back(it is about the size of a nickel). The rest of his nose appears a little dry.It didn't help that he loves to stick his nose in wherever he can!!! By all accounts he appears healthy, exersized frequently, happy, alert , eats a high quality food, metal food bowl ect.. He does not appear to be bothered by this. Also the scrape is pink , scaly and scabby but not oozing. So I'm a little worried that it may be discoid lupus. Anybody have experiences with this? Suggestions? Recommendations?

Oh I forgot to mention he is 3 and a half years old.

Would not get worried ,wait 10 days. Got same prob. just screped ,same spot. now gone.
