Puppy Acrobatics - Page 1

My husband & I just had the opportunity to watch the funniest display of affection from my 13 week old puppy, Ansgar. She has totally bonded with me, wants to be under my heels 24/7; so we've been using a 'babygate' arraingment to keep her out of the kitchen when I'm busy in there. Carl sits out with the puppies on the front porch. Well, Ansgar does not like this. All I ever see is her head popping up from the porch, her big ol' lop-sided ears standing up like radar, looking for me. Tonight, she found her target. She got the screen door open, dashed across the living room, and climbed that babygate just like a ladder, and over the top and into my arms, with kisses galore! Neither Carl nor I were quick enough to stop her, and besides, we were laughing too hard to move quickly, anyway! Of course, too quick for pictures! Looks like I've got an agility dog on my hands! Just had to share; the look of determination & the triumph on her little face was absolutely priceless! jackie harris

awwwwww, your description really painted a picture for me.  She sounds like a real pistol.  Now I want a new puppy too.

That's her little scowling face on the 'logo' thingy, her eyes almost look blue in that picture. They've darkened considerably since then, but she's still a piece of work...smart as a whip; once she sets her mind to doing something, forget it, she'll get it done!My little demon! jh
