Hey guys,

I'm new to this website and I was wondering if anyone has dealt with Haus Mailand Kennels in the UK?

I went to their website and I likeed their dogs and I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about the kennels and if they are honest breeders as I would like to purchase a puppy from them.

Thanks

.

Mimic, They Haus Mailand have been around for a long while with their GSD. I cant recall seeing anything negative about them on this Board. Do your homework and good luck / VB

If you need info on my kennel in UK or Germany I would appriciete if you contacted me first with your real name a valid email address and contact telephone number
Or you can have reference from some of the people that work with me or have bought animals bred by myself Stefano March, Huas Mailand GSD

Regards
Stefano

Stefano, I'm sure he meant no offense. He said he liked your site and dogs. Everyone always says to contact the kennel first... I never understood that. If the kennel is not owned by honest people does anyone truely expect them to tell you this when you contact them by phone??? If they give you references doyou think they will include names of people the have screwed in the past??? Of course not. They are going to lie and tell you how great they are, how great their dogs are.... Same as a respected, honest kennel will. So this person pretty much knows how the conversation would go. So he's just trying to get some info from others out there to see if indeed the kennel isn't known for wrong practices prior to contacting them directly. So I don't think anyone should take offense when a guy is doing his HOMEWORK (like everyone on here tells everybody to do). If a kennel has a good name for honest practices and good dogs they shouldn't have to worry about asking this question on the DB.

ramgsd,

i totally agree with you. as long as one is honest breeder then this might even turn out to be good advertisement to you.

Mimic. I have never met Stefano at Haus Mailand in person, but have dealt with the kennel. In March 2006 I bought a beautiful girl from him, along with being gorgeous, Bella had a wonderful temperament and fit right in with my family and lifestyle. Living in the USA I was not real comfortable with wiring money to Germany, I knew I was taking a chance. But just hoped that I had a made a good choice of who to deal with. During the whole transaction, Stefano always promptly responded to my emails and answered my many questions. The puppy arrived exactly when she was supposed to. At some point I started talking to Susan, who I believe handles the dogs in the Germany kennel. She kept in touch with me as well, and kept me updated on when I would receive the pink papers and the letter needed for AKC. She also sent me a CD with different pictures of my puppy and her siblings and parents on it. Unfortunately, when I had Bella's hips x-rayed at 2 years old I was told they would not certify. I of course was upset by this, but I guess this happens no matter how careful you are with your breeding's. I of course hate I had put a lot in to her by getting her here and with her training, I feel that just went down the drain. But, even though it turned out I bought a dog with bad hips. I have to say I had no problem with my dealings with Haus Mailand Kennels when purchasing Bella. I would say they were honest people to deal with. I guess this goes back to you don't get guarantee's in Germany?   Yolanda
